Welcome to my blog. I live in Sydney and love living on the water but I like to be part of the Global Shopping Experience. My other favourite cities are New York, Paris, Rome,Tokyo & London and I would love to travel more around the World. I like to surround myself with dynamic and energetic people and luxurious things: Pink Champagne Afternoon Tea with Royal Albert Lady Carlyle; Wedgwood and Royal Doulton enhanced by Pale Pink and White Peonies; Yves Delormes Linen; Enjoy Lighting and Glasshouse Perfumed Candles; Crystal cut lamps and a great selection of music. Well cut designer suits, dresses and coats; White Gold Jewellery; Designer SHOES and handbags as well as hats; scarves; gloves; sunglasses; fun Mimco Jewellery accessories and Holster Bling flats are included in my organised pinklily wardrobe. My life must include going to the Theatre; Dancing and Fine Dining. I like to spend time Listening to Music especially Jazz by Diana Krall; Reading my favourite Fashion Magazines, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair with a cup of cappuccino at my side; Swimming in the pool; or experiencing Sydney Cafe Life and amazing Restaurants. Must mention how I enjoy spending time with my iMac; being part of a wide world of social media; My Blog; Twitter; Pinterest; Facebook; & chatting on my iPhone. I love challenges, new experiences, expanding my world and learning about great new ideas in design and style. Time spent with creative, people is interesting and exciting. I thrive on discovering new knowledge and enjoy researching and sharing new up to date ideas and media stories in Luxury Living; Style; Design; Fashion; Beauty; Entertainment and Travel . Move Over LBD for LRD &LWD

Whether it's Date Night or going out on the town with the girls, the question is always What am I going to wear? The fall back option had always been the Little Black Dress, the LBD as it is affectionately known.Vera Wang made a very bold step with her fresh approach to Wedding Gowns when she introduced Black as well as Red as colour options for Bridal Gowns in 2012. Designers have extended their creative visions and now it's time for the LBD to realise that it has two new little sisters, the Little Red Dress, affectionately called the LRD and the Little White Dress, affectionately called the LWD. Move over LBD and make space for the LRD & the LWD in the capsule wardrobe and you'll have three go to dresses to choose from.Vera Wang's 2013 Bridal Collection is Stunning. In June 2012 Vera Wang's Australian Flagship opened at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney. It's a personal choice and your privilege as the Bride to wear what you want and to choose the colour of your gown. Here's a selection of Vera Wang's Black, Red and White Wedding Gowns. Elie Saab's 2013 Collection included a stunning White Wedding Gown and veil. Oscar de la Renta and Christian Dior also included Red Wedding Gowns in their Collections of 2013.

White or Red or is it Back to Black?

These are just a small selection of LRD and LWD designs. A lot of transparent fabrics, lace and frills showcase in most of the runway shows for 2013. It's definitely a feminine girly look. Most importantly go out and enjoy yourself but feel good in what you're wearing. I still love Black and dare I say at this point that Black is Back but colour does make me feel happy. If you choose a detailed dress, then keep the jewellery simple and maybe add a sparkly or a jewelled clutch. You could wear a nude shoe or for a strong contrast black patent or sparkly high pumps will look divine with a LRD. The LWD will also look great with Black or nude coloured pumps.
